@ncmuseumhistory is celebrating Durham artist Ernie Barnes with a new exhibit. Many works are being shown publicly for the first time. One of his most notable works was the painting used as cover art for Marvin Gaye’s 1976 record, I Want You. His 80th birthday would have been July 15th.
