DID YOU KNOW I WROTE A NOVELLA AND IT’S COMING OUT SOON-ISH (MARCH 2023. MON DIEU !)
Here’s what Alix E. Harrow has to say about it:
Nothing but the Rain is a small and perfect apocalypse. Bleak, spare, and beautiful.
Here’s what Adrian Tchaikovsky has to say about it:
A weird, moving, and utterly chilling story of human loss, fear, and the unknown.
And here’s what I have to say about it in case you missed it the first time. This is a story about a town where the rain wipes out your memories. Laverne, a sixtysomething retired doctor, is keeping an extremely pissed-off journal about it. Surely everything in it is entirely reliable, including her own narration, and writing things down will help her perfectly keep track of everything that’s going on!
Is this book actually about the apocalypse? I don’t like stories about the world ending.
Neither do I. This is more of a “what if there was a town and it was messed up” sort of story.
Is this book horror? Is it more like a psychological thriller sort of thing? Is it a metaphor for something?
Where did this FAQ come from? Have people actually asked you these questions?
No, I’m just doing a bit because I’ve never promoted one of my own books before. <3 Here’s the pre-ordering link! Apparently pre-ordering stuff is good. I am so excited for people to actually read it?? Imagine
