if you have a choice, i guess i'd rather you get it from "anywhere but amazon" and if you're in the US, "preferably bookshop.org" since that contributes to raising funds for independent bookstores.

i haven't exactly sold the adaptation rights- we just signed an agreement (literally today, actually!!) for [redacted] to try and get a movie off the ground, and they've got [redacted amount of time] to manage it. during that time the adaptation rights are exclusive to them, but after that period they will revert to me.

and i like that better, tbh? that way [redacted] is highly motivated to make it happen during that time, and if it doesn't happen, someone else can take a shot at it instead of the movie staying in development hell for ever!

two thousand ratings on goodreads!!!!!!!!! i know it's only a fraction of the actual number of readers, but it still feels like a milestone, especially since i'd been much slower to reach the first thousand. i'm so glad my novella is actually gaining momentum over the months! thank you to all the reviewers on tiktok and youtube and instagram, and on this here platform also - i see you all and i'm so grateful!
