Coming out of a seemingly peaceful sleep, the raven stilled in his prone position amidst sprawling sheets, the hairs on the back of his neck rising as he acutely became aware of two things.

One- he was no longer in his dormitory- let alone his own bed for that matter. The sheets sticking to parts of his body were too stiff and not at all worn in- that and the sun was shining on the wrong side, hitting his side of the bed directly and causing him to narrow his eyes as he blinked away Morpheus’s spell.

Slowly turning over onto his other side, pale fingertips ghosted along parts of silky skin, only reconfirming the second thing he had noticed. Sasuke wasn't alone. A fact that only alarmed him further as he spotted the metal band circling his left ring finger, though he showed no outward expression. Not even as obsidian stained hues found themselves staring into glimmering aqua haloed by gold.
