In honour of Trans Visibility Day I'm gonna tell you all about my trans characters!!
First up we have Mattheo/Runa. Xe is genderfluid and uses he/him and xe/xem pronouns. He was born with the name Mattheo but chose to add Runa upon realising xe is genderfluid. He is a gay pagan witch who helps new pagans and witches to learn the craft. Xe specialises in healing and minor demonology. He shows up as a pretty important side character in Canis Lupus!
Next is Melisa. Mel is also non-binary and uses she/they pronouns. While she doesn't hate her birthname of Melisa they prefer to go by the nickname Mel as they feel it's more neutral. She is a vigilante with a known liking for blades and swords, they tend to help out people who can't help themselves, especially assault victims and queer youth. She is a recurring character in A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing and plays a kind of big role.
Then we have Nikolai. Niko is a trans man who uses he/him pronouns. He chose the name Nikolai although he doesn't hate old nicknames from his deadname, in fact he loves when close friends use them, even more so when the use a masculine version of them. Another vigilante, is friends and roommates with Mel and is known for his sharpshooting skills and ability to card count. He had a less than ideal home life due to his being queer and so he is so glad to be accepted by his found family. Like Mel he shows up in ASIWC and is a really helpful side character.
Tommy is next and while they were introduced in The Lone Wolf they haven't quite figured out their identity yet in the currently published timeline but will come out in Holding a Wolf By The Ears. They are agender and will use they/them pronouns. Tommy doesn't change their name or appearance as they like their name and don't have much physical dysphoria. They've always been a minor but recurring character.
Finally we have Amber Jade-Hale. Amber is the main character in the Teen Wolf fic I am currently working on but not posting. She is a demigirl and uses she/they pronouns. She doesn't mind her name but does like when a specific close friend calls them AJ. They are a witch, a werecoyote and technically a prophet. She realises she's trans mid way through the first fic in the series and they come out at near the third act of it.

Nonbinary OCs day 2: Shay Warren
Name: Shay Warren
Gender: Nonbinary
Pronouns: They/them
Orientation: Pansexual
Shay comes from a story idea called Unmarked, where people develop patterned markings on their arms during puberty. Marks are usually fairly uniform and come in skin tones, and because society is garbage, you can be cast out of the main settlement for having ‘mutated’ marks with unusual patterns and colours. After the main character Iris is banished for reaching adulthood with no markings at all, she meets Shay and their cousin Dion, who are protectors of the small settlement of outcasts that has formed outside the City. Shay is an optimistic, fun-loving person, but they sometimes feel obliged to be the funny, lighthearted friend to keep everyone else happy. They’re a big fan of puns.

This is Jack (they/them), the human Director of the NB Agency (formerly named Novis).
Nonbinary OCs day 6: Chester Morgenstern
Name: Chester Morgenstern
Gender: Bigender
Pronouns: He/him, she/her, or they/them
Orientation: Bisexual
Chester is a friendly, optimistic person who always tries to see the good in others. He grew up with rich parents, but is now trying to make it on his own for the first time. Since she’s had quite a sheltered upbringing, Chester can be naive and trust too easily. However, that doesn’t mean they’re not smart - they actually learn to be quite good at tricking people into becoming nicer. Chester is quite experimental with clothing styles, and likes to incorporate both masculine and feminine elements into her outfits. They also love musical theatre. Chester was assigned male at birth, and was initially fine with it (though he was more feminine than most boys), but he often felt left out when not included in girls’ things. As a teenager she considered she might be a trans girl, but that didn’t seem right either because she felt she’d miss being a boy. Once they finally figured out being both was an option, Chester knew that was their true identity and was much happier for it.
Nonbinary OCs day 5: Alexis Sharp
Name: Alexis Sharp
Gender: Agender
Pronouns: They/them
Orientation: Demiromantic asexual
Alexis is a talented singer and musician who can play several different instruments, including violin and piano. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to get their big break and were struggling for money... until they got a second job as a hitman. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, Alexis discovered they quite enjoy murder. When not performing or killing people, Alexis craves constant stimulation and is always on the lookout for good fun. They’re an energetic, upbeat person who enjoys bets and challenges. Though they have been known to cheat. Alexis’s attitude to gender is a big ‘no thanks’ - they consider themself a mystery. An enigma. One of a kind.
