Towards the end of the summer after the events of Big Picture Show, the Eds and other cul-de-sac kids swim and play in the recently made salt-water pool and after enjoying sunning and tanning herself, Nazz asks Edd if she could jump in the pool and swim with her. After being so nervous and so bashful, Edd accepts and the two jump in the pool. While underwater, the two happily look at each other. Edd's heart beats and heavily blushes his face red as he see's Nazz's blonde hair beautifully flowing and waving and her eyes fluttering. This reminded him of a mermaid. He can also feel through Nazz's hand that he's holding her heart beating through her blood veins. Together the two swim through the pool.
