How they smile

Normally he a sort of subdued, shy kind of smile, and unconsciously tries to hide it with his scarf or by lowering his head.

Volume of speech, if they’re verbal

He has a very quiet voice, usually, hesitant to raise his voice much unless he’s having a meltdown.

In a group conversation, how close do they stand to others? Are they off to the side just listening and occasionally speaking or are they right next to people?

If there’s a familiar person that he trusts and feels safe with, he’ll try to stay close to that person. Whether he contributes directly or not usually depends on the topic, but he’ll sometimes throw out tiny things to keep others talking.

When standing, what do they do with their hands? Talk with their hands, cross their arms, put hands in pockets, prop up against the wall, etc

He kinda keeps his arms/hands close to himself, like an unconscious “shield.”

35. Is your character afraid of death? If they got to choose how to die, how would they want to go?

Actually, I can imagine there might’ve been a brief period where he was at his absolute lowest and wanted to die, hoping that maybe one night, he could slip away in his sleep and not have to worry about struggling to survive anymore. In the future, though, he’s glad to be alive, happy with his new family.

37. What are some of your character’s pet peeves? What are some things that annoy them or disgust them?

He hates people who abuse the weak, no matter the reason. Especially if he catches someone being cruel towards a child; it might even trigger a violent reaction from him.

49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?

He tends to get along better with kids who are younger than him, and he’s sorta become the Big Brother Friend of his friend circle.

He’s normally very gentle around children, but the moment you threaten their safety, he WILL rip your face off.

Until he finally got a flame from Minnie, he had a very hard time staying warm. He still hates cold weather to this day, and despises snow.

It took a long time before Natsari was okay with anybody touching him for any reason. Having been physically abused for most of his childhood, he’d often associate being touched with pain. Nowadays, provided he trusts the person enough, he likes being hugged and held.

He likes soft colors, with baby blue being his favorite.

Eventually gets a few younger siblings that he absolutely adores, doing whatever he can to protect and care for them.

He cried when he held said siblings for the first time.

He’s learning to play the violin from his father, Persiri, but plays it more as a hobby than actually wanting to be a musician.

His favorite drink is hot chocolate.
