Gratitude. I'm extremely thankful for friends like Kev who will pound through mile after mile with me day in and day out. He's a trooper with a passion like a giant. He is willing to put in the miles of trial, the trial of miles. Today I qualified for NAIA Nationals in the Marathon. This has been a goal that I've failed to attain 3 previous times, but this time was different. I ran the best half marathon of my life. Failure didn't listen the joy of attaining the goal, it only made it sweeter. God is incredible. Today is a day for rejoicing and all you can eat pancakes because life is wild. We just celebrated our 1 year comeback the other day. 1 year and 3 months ago, Chavaugn had a horrible accident after competing in her first Figure competition. Her body and mind took a turn for the worst And she went from shredded at 118 lbs to 163 lbs within a few short months. After counseling her through a few fears and doubts, we got her back on the wagon, on a slow metabolic recovery program. Her body quickly started recovering and we got her eating more and more food over time. Fast forward a year, she took 1st in her #wpd physique debut in Sacramento And now is prepping for another Sacramento show and Nationals in November. And eating like a 🐴 We will be cruising through the next 3 months making gains rather than suffering for conditioning. I'm so incredibly proud to be this woman's coach, mentor and friend. She has been through hell, and she kept going. Her perseverance through adversity and her faith in me to get her where she needs to be is humbling and an honor. I can't wait to watch you grace the national stage Chavaugn. You're truly a Champion.
