“Oh my gosh! No way! That is so funny.” Nina spoke over excitedly then proceeded to burst into laughter. “No what’s funny is that you think I care about what you have to say. Even more funny that you thought I was listening, let alone interested.” Her hand lifting off the table to wave the guy off.

Gemma wanted to smash her head in at the silence. It was never this quiet in The Great Hall; well, except for study halls like now. But the hushed tones worked hard to pierce swiss cheese sized holes into her psyche. She needed to talk, but everyone around her wasn't interested in speaking to her. They were all studying for their N.E.W.T.s, but that didn't worry Gemma like it worried her colleagues. It wasn't for another few months, and she was pretty confident about how she would do on them as it was.

But Gemma honestly couldn't keep quiet much longer. As she looked for someone to talk to, one person caught her eye: Nathan Goldstein. She remembered the few years ago when they had dated, and had honestly enjoyed it a lot! But there was something along the lines of finding time to be consistent in the relationship, so Gemma broke it off with him. But she was pretty sure they were on good terms. So as Professor Ruiz turned into the other direction, Gemma got up and slithered over to the Ravenclaw table.
