𝐅𝐎𝐑  𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄  𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍  ,  as  the  sun  goes  away  so  does  the  filter  elliot  usually  so  diligently  keeps  intact  .  whether  it  was  his  own  fatigue  that  wiped  away  any  sense  of  fear  that  came  with  being  vulnerable  ,  or  by  that  point  of  the  night  he  was  too  gone  to  care  was  up  for  debate  .  but  even  tonight  ,  with  his  friend  nate  as  company  ,  he  feels  himself  loosening  up  the  later  it  gets  .  walking  from  the  kitchen  to  where  nate  was  seated  in  his  living  room  ,  elliot  puts  down  two  glasses  and  a  bottle  of  wine  ,  beginning  to  open  it  as  he  speaks  .  "  you  know  ,  i'm  so  grateful  you  decided  to  hang  out  with  me  tonight  .  i  actually  don't  have  a  lot  of  guests  come  over  .  it  feels  .  .  .  weird  to.  "  elliot's  home  was  his  safe  haven  ,  away  from  the  stress  of  both  his  celebrity  life  and  his  personal  one  ,  so  he  was  very  particular  for  who  invited  in  .  however  ,  despite  him  and  nate  still  getting  to  know  each  other  ,  his  platonic  affection  for  the  other  was  already  evident  by  his  open  invitation  to  come  over  whenever  he  liked  .  "  it's  just  .  .  .  i  kinda  want  my  house  to  be  the  one  thing  i  have  control  over  ,  you  know  ?  but  anyways  -  let's  not  get  too  sappy.  hey  ,  nate  -  did  you  want  to  drink  too  ,  or  no  ?  "  

“  hi  ,  i’m  sorry  .  correct  me  if  i’m  wrong  ,  but  are  you  the  apparently  well  hidden  ,  better  twin  of  nate  spencer  ?  ”  her  finger  tapping  on  the  male's  shoulder  before  she  speaks  .  playful  tease  ,  something  so  familiar  to  their  friendship  .  after  successfully  bringing  his  attention  to  her  ,  zoya's  head  is  now  tilted  as  she  lets  out  a  soft  chuckle  before  she  lets  her  back  lean  on  the  bar  .  “  i  think  this  is  the  neatest  you’ve  ever  looked  .  did  your  stylist  have  a  charity  work  type  of  day  ?  ”  zoya  doesn't  hold  herself  back  a  lot  with  nate  ,  she  knows  she  doesn't  have  to  .  most  of  the  time  spent  joking  on  how  he  hates  her  to  the  point  of  hiding  their  friendship  ,  she  came  to  conclusion  that  nate  is  one  of  the  very  few  people  she  can  fully  let  herself  out  .

two  knocks  on  the  white  wooden  door  of  the  very  familiar  mansion  (  to  the  point  that  she  knows  every  inch  of  it  ,  almost  as  if  she  lived  there  )  ,  quickly  followed  by  another  two  knocks  as  she’s  swaying  on  her  sides  ,  a  quick  reminder  of  how  she’s  the  #1  wind  hater  .  once  the  door  opens  ,  her  face  suddenly  lights  up  as  she  reaches  her  hand  forward  ,  exposing  a  large  pack  of  blue  sour  patch  kids  stacked  on  the  top  of  a  plastic  container  with  a  heart  shaped  chocolate  chip  cookies  .  “  i  bring  apology  gifts  to  cure  a  broken  heart  ,  ”  a  lightweight  tease  mentioning  their  previous  text  conversation  ,  only  missing  a  smile  that’s  hidden  behind  a  frown  and  nose  scrunches  every  time  her  face  gets  hit  by  a  cold  wind  and  zoya’s  using  all  of  her  self  control  strength  to  stop  herself  from  an  extra  comment  ,  her  daily  dose  of  annoying  nate  .
