I think what people miss about the whole Natasha thing in AoU is that she is a representation of what the patriarchy has done to women. Her whole life she was told that women are meant to have kids and then they stole that from her and she never came to terms with it much like many women today haven't come to terms with what the patriarchy has done to us.
