Updated ARC Payments
Remember, ARC payments are on 85% of base acres. Planted acres are irrelevant. ARC payments are also dependent on county yields. This is probably most important for dry land as there is greater yield variability. For example, I would not expect a payment on non irrigated wheat in Chase County. The trigger yield for an ARC payment is 51.6 bushel per acre wheat. Aside from a small number of acres that were hailed out, most yields were a lot closer to 80 bushels per acre than 50.)
Bottom line - excluding some non irrigated acres, large ARC payments can be expected on all crops not named grain sorghum.
