āHow troublesomeā
Leaning against a sandstone wall, the kunoichi looked up at the sky. She was overlooking her home village. It was quiet. The moonlight reflected on some nearby windows. The lights were out, everyone was sleeping. A breeze of fresh, cool air passed her, creating tiny wind cyclones around Temaris feet. She gave a soft smile.
She felt rather nostalgic that evening.
"It feels risky to say..." she started, absentmindedly letting sand run through her fingers "...but it seems like people can finally enjoy peace" hopeful teal eyes drifted over the night sky over Sunagakure.
Almost there. The familiar feel and smell of sweat surrounded her like an aura. Temari had been in Konoha for a diplomatic mission. No fighting, just lots of politics. She wasn't sure which was more exhausting at this point. But the tired state her body was in at this moment spoke volumes. Since this was such a low effort mission and the way was deemed relatively safe, she was traveling alone. At least on her way back home. She passed the forests almost completely. But for a while Temari had recognized being followed. Why now? To be sure that her thesis was correct, she'd pull a few maneuvers, getting faster and zigzagging through the rest of the forest until she finally had enough. Right before the forest would've opened into the wide desert she called home, she stopped and rushed around, hoping to spot her follower.
Only to have her gaze brushing some moving leaves. "I've noticed you." she stated, one hand slowly wandering toward her pocket. "Come out now and I won't have to level this forest, coward." she added with a growl.

Hinata had her pale eyes glued to the screen of her phone, hoping that her older cousin Neji would get back to her. If he didnāt, surely her parents would make her go home. The young girl sighed, allowing her eyes to slowly sweep over the sights before her.
Oranges and reds dyed the scenes, the smell of sweets filling her senses and causing her stomach to growl ever so slightly. Mixtures of screams and laughter filled her ears and the girl couldnāt help but sigh. Everything was so tempting, everything looked so fun. Maybe her parents wouldnāt notice if she stayed for just a little bit.
The phone within her hand buzzed and her pale eyes shot down to the screen. She couldnāt be rebellious, she wouldnāt. She was about to read the message out within her head when her side was nudged and the cell jumped from her palms and to the ground in front of her. She gasped softly, bending to pick it up as her face flushed.
"Sorry, I should have been paying more attentionā¦ā

The village Akako had arrived in was very different from her own; although that seemed universal for all villages south of her own. Though the Uzumaki boy - her second cousin through her mother, and a relative she still hadnāt met - had helped turn her land from one of perpetual ice to one of spring, not much had really changed. And winter still came, spring only lasted half the year, which meant that any place south of her land would be alien to her.
Still though, travelling was one pleasure she openly indulged. Seeing new places always thrilled her, and today was no different. The village she was now in was so much bigger than her own, and the architecture and fashion so different - at least for the civilians. Shinobi, she found, seemed to dress the same no matter where they came from.
As Akako stood in what appeared to be a main shopping thoroughfare, she considered her options. She would have to check in with the villageās Kage in the next few hours, but untill then... should she find somewhere to eat or do some shopping first? Aoi would love a souvenir.
