thruth be told, school and work became a bit much and i kinda fell out of RPing in general. I’m thinking of coming back here now that things have calmed down a bit, but tbh I’m over at my YuGiOh blog more often than not

I’m gonna go through my likes and just reblog shit, there’s not enough stuff on this blog so, warning for incoming spam. Probably not a long one, tho

 “You can stay out of the way.” Anyone who had spent any time around the Kazekage understood this was not a personal slight. Sandstorms were fierce beasts, untamable, untenable. Only those trained from birth in the ways of the desert were qualified to safeguard Sunagakure when nature sent one ripping through its path; only the strongest, or perhaps the most foolish, sought to face it head-on. He did not think informing Akako to stay indoors would be necessary.

 “A jounin can bring you any amenities you request, if needed.”

As soon those words left the Kazegake’s mouth, Akako’s deep-seated inferiority complex reared it’s ugly head and for a moment, just a split second, she felt anger rise. That boiling Uzumaki temper, so easily triggered, that she inherited from her mother burned inside her. She wanted to yell, she knew what storms were, so could help, dammit!

But instead of unleashing her anger, she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and swallowed it. She was the daughter of her village’s leader, groomed to follow his footsteps, such rage was... unbecoming, at best. Besides, he was right. Winter storms and desert storms were vastly different creatures.

“As you say, Kazekage-sama,” she said calmly, bowing at the waist before taking a step away. “I’ll make myself scarce.”

It wasn’t unusual, these days, for Akako to spend time between villages. Following the initial alliance forged from the whole fiasco with Koyuki-sama and the spring generator, the two villages worked together on a few occasions. The war, which only strengthened to their bond, made it normal for shinobi to spend multiple weeks in each other’s villages.

Akako no longer had to worry about a team, having been a jounin for a few years now, but she spending time in Konoha would help her in the long run. Her father only had a few years left in him before she would take his place, after all, and this was an alliance she wanted to keep strong.

Exiting the Hokage’s tower after a long mission she’d taken for Konoha, she stretched her arms up and yawned, ready for a few days of relaxation before she had to start the long journey back home.

She would have to stop for something to eat before heading back to her hotel, though, as her stomach had begun growling loudly.
