Wonderland / Narry
Iāve been working on this little piece for a while now, but I just wanted to make sure it sounded good enough to actually post the full thing on here so this is just a small, very small preview of it - pretty much, this is just how it begins. Please let me know if itās worth finishing and possting by favouriting or even reblogging, whatever floats your boat OR you could even go to my ask box to give me any feedback! Anything is appreciated greatly!Ā
Anyway, read on, Enjoy!

The air is sultry, sweeping around Niallās ankles in a flurry. Niall doesnāt mind summer, to an extent. He draws the line at this degree of heat considering it to be a mere health hazard he thinks, standing under the smouldering heat with his eyes squinting to look into the distance.
As a child, working at an amusement park is like a dream. The entitlement of being allowed constant access to candy floss, plush toys bigger than your head, and watching the monkey act that starts every day at noon, not to mention getting paid for it. It appears so innocent, but no eight year-old would know any better, at least, thatās what Niall tells himself in order to make himself feel better.
If Niall wasnāt on probation for the next six months, he wouldnāt think twice about quitting here. Wiping down puke from technical contraptions isnāt exactly how he had originally planned to spend his summer.
Admittedly, this place did appear a lot less dull and depressing when Niall only a young boy. Looking at the sign out front now only results in a curdling feeling in the pit of his stomach, making Niall want to puke on its technical contraptions himself. Itās in Niallās belief that this place was created by degenerate pricks.
Ā Late afternoon peaks, and the sun has brought about a blistering heat wave just as the crowds start to pick up. Even in the safe compartments of his sideshow tent, witnessing the bustling crowds overhead from his stool still makes Niall anxious.
Eyeing the swathe of people, Niall couldnāt help but glare under the sunās harsh rays when the familiar sight of his current person of interest appears. For Niall, itās as if Ā the sun just happens to shine a direct beam of light onto his rippling back muscles and bulging tattooed biceps, the sweat causing his white tee to stick to his torso in a way that makes the image too much for Niallās poor heart to handle.
The maintenance guy, with his impeccable good looks and the personās character of a typical Disney prince, he is the highlight of everyoneās day when it comes down to it. Niall has spent countless days on the job fantasizing about the maintenance guy, the way his pink lips curl up into a smirk, the spark of entity swimming in his green irises and legs that could go on for days.
āYou keep gaping like that and youāll be catching flies in your throat.ā
