this is the part you don’t remember: you had parents who loved you, once. a father who held you close and told everyone who would listen about his precious baby girl, a mother who gave you her own mother’s name and rocked you to sleep against her chest. you had them and you lost them — no, they were stolen from you. or perhaps you were stolen from them, or maybe you never had any of that and the vague traces of warmth at the fringes of your memory are just wishful thinking, a way to escape this house that feels more like a prison and the name you know is not really your own.

Welcome back, Skip! You know how much I love Birdie so I was so excited to hear you write a second character and, of course, you didn't disappoint! Nova--known solely like their name like Cher or Madonna--is bound to be equally as iconic in the roleplay.

when she was a little girl, her mother would point at the stars and tell her that she was one of them. that she had reached in among the glittering points dotting the sky to pluck little baby girl from the galaxy to nestle her in her arms. At the time, hande did not know that she meant it, literally —-- or, as close to it as she could. 

meng came into the world in the back of a van. An odd thing, really, to hear newborn screams coming from a worn down camper van in the middle of the night. She does not know much about her parents —-- only that mother died within the moments following daughter slipping from between her thighs and into proper existence and that father was left groundless. Angry. Or, so he must have been to slip into the dark with child barely wrapped to leave her at the doors of a nearby motel with a note in slashing, barely legible writing declaring her a murderer.

Congratulations J! I really love both Hande and Meng so much. Meng’s explorer and artistic spirit speaks to me and Hande trying to find her place in the world will be so fun to watch play out on the dash! Welcome to Narrative!

From an early age, Khalil knew that he wanted to help people. In such a big city he couldn’t help but feel sorry for some of the less fortunate people he saw. As a child, he knew he couldn’t do much to help them, but he wished he could. At school, he always went out of his way to befriend the kids who were seen as outcasts or loners. He was the kid who always gave out invitations to everyone in the class when it came to his birthday parties, even if not everyone came. He didn’t want anyone to feel left out or unwanted, so everyone always received an invite.

Hello again Pasha! As a therapist myself, he fits the vibe so well, not to mention I love the fun little tidbits about him. Welcome to Narrativefm!

Despite the meaning of her name, Irene has always been anything but peaceful. In fact most people might think that her sole purpose in life is to cause a ruckus and annoy just about anyone within reach. She’s loud and she can never stay still for too long, always looking for something to amuse herself with, frequently at the expense of someone else. You’d think the normalcy of a smalltown would send her running for the hills but, truthfully, Irene has never wanted to leave Holy Cross. She’s content here. Sure, it gets mind-numbingly boring at times but she’s a firm believer that that is exactly why the town needs her, it would be so much worse if she were to leave.

Welcome Yo! I love how unapologetically raw and fun she is! We’ve been getting so many trouble-maker characters and I can’t wait to see how that plays out on the dash. Welcome to Narrativefm!

your mother was 8 months pregnant, lost and alone when she stumbled upon a church one stormy afternoon. she hadn’t remembered how, when or even why she’d left her home but the townspeople of this new small village took her in as one of their own. little did she know at the time but she had just been accepted into a cult     —     sisters of the eclipse.

It was six years ago that his sister ran away from home, and August’s life hasn’t been the same since. Scratch that, the world hasn’t been the same since. His parents, once easy-going and empathetic, became harsh and distant, simultaneously fretting over his future and cutting themselves off at the prospect of an inevitable loss. As for his sister’s room, that became a living tomb of sorts; no fake jewelry was moved from her shoddily painted vanity, nor was her bed ever properly made again. It remained as it was, even if his sister hadn’t. Junie, the once vivacious girl, became ever so withdrawn, and she fled from home due to pains she would never utter a word about.

Annalise Townsend often knows more than she lets on, as indicated only by a knowing glare, a shaking head, and a subtle tut-tut-tut. But perhaps that’s not the first thing one might know about her. Instead, one may find Annalise Townsend sporting a friendly, if false grin, as she invites for perhaps a cup of coffee at a local cafe. She insists it’s a matter of informing you about the town mixer, which just happens to be taking place at the recently built church. Admit that you’re curious, and she’ll clasp her hands with… enthusiasm, shall we say.
