Why is it that in the Detective Conan anime, when it comes to the episodes I've seen, Conan's thoughts are narrated by an older sounding actor compared to Conan's voice actor, but Haibara's thoughts aren't narrated by an older sounding actor and still sound like a child?
Conan's inner monologue in the original japanese dubbing and story narration is by the same voice actress, Minami Takayama. She simply speaks in a more mature tone, to portray Conan's serious and mature side. It's only in the english dub that they had Shinichi's voice actor play the inner-monologue role and narration.
As evolutionarily fascinating as the Stormfront Early Warning System is, I wish there was an off switch. Like thank you to my knees but I have gotten the memo and you can stop hurting now, actually.
