Some anonymous user sent me a link to this website and told me to give it a go, so I thought, why not?

I don’t know how they got my email or how they were even able to send something that slipped past the COI’s systems, but, well, they did say this site was like a window into the multiverse. It got me curious, okay?

Anyway, hi! I’m Narra. I’m a researcher for the Consolidation of Iron, currently studying AT-5. It’s a moon with an ocean of blood on it. Crazy.

So yeah, uh…there’s not a lot for me to do here, I’m mostly just waiting for data from the SM-13 while combing through the same batches of photos over and over.

(Anyway here’s some pictures of Narra. I explained a bit of who Narra is in my main blog but basically they’re a researcher for the COI, they’re studying the blood moon using semi up-to-date data from the SM-13, and they don’t remember much from life before the Quiet Rapture because they were too young to remember anything lol.)

EXPERIMENT QUIET RAPTURE -> the blood moons were created using the mutated blood of Watchers -> -> Watchers are extra-dimensional entities that can manipulate reality and travel between universes. They spend most of their time watching people. (Also apparently they destroy universes every time they use their abilities??? That's insane – Narra) -> Captain Ellie of the SM-8 (in my universe her name was Elsie – Narra) was used to create life in the blood ocean (what the fuck) but they killed her (what the FUCK???) -> the COI founder was in on this -> they had a watcher bring in something called The Light but as a side effect it destroyed most of their universe (OH YOU FUCKING BITCHES WHEN I CATCH YOU – Narra)

(As they took these notes, Narra can't help but think...how much of this is real? How much of this is a constant between universes? What about the Quiet Rapture in their own universe? Is it just that Ava's universe, or was their own Rapture an inside job?)

(Narra's grip on their stylus tightened. No. They can't think about this right now.)

(Narra set down the binder and picked up the one labeled "Project - AVA". Is it a funny coincidence that the project has the same name as the Captain? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Surely things can't get any more of a mindfuckery than the other binder they read, right?)

PROJECT AVA -> "AVA" means "Ascension Via Abandon" -> how Ellie and Ava were created (the lore...THE LOREEE – Narra) -> Ava and Ellie were born around the same time and raised by the Consolidation (holy shit) -> Ellie's mutated form was conceptualized before she went down into the blood ocean (I wonder what that looked like… – Narra) -> -> they tested the effects of The Light on Ellie to see if she could maintain consciousness after being consumed by it and mutated, and it did work. they killed her after that (WHAT THE ACTUAL SHIT????) -> Ava was next, she's supposed to hold her light and the Creator (what the fuck is the Creator? – Narra) -> the COI founder went missing after he asked everyone to keep Ava alive (huh???)

(Narra closed the binder and sat there in the void.)

(They look at Callie as they hand the tablet with their notes to the watcher.)

W-Wow, that's...a-a lot.

When the blood starts to spread over surfaces to assimilate it into its being, odd growths—some resembling tumors or ripped up chunks of flesh and others veins—start to form.

Once the growths form over an object enough to completely cover it for long enough, it becomes impossible to pry any objects free. Any object affected by the growths assimilates into the blood and becomes…alive, somehow. The data shows that there were signs of oxygen in the SM-13 (at least in Ianus’s universe) despite the oxygen reserves supposedly running low by the time the ship was destroyed. How the blood and the growths can do this is beyond me, but it doesn’t hurt to wonder.

The Eel is similar to an eel appearance-wise. However, this creature is large, with long sharp teeth that don’t quite fit its mouth, and veins coming out of its gills. Its fins resemble human limbs, more and more of them clustering to its tail. The tail resembles a pair of feet put together.

This thing can chomp through metal. Pictures from the SM-13 show the Eel holding the SM-14 in its mouth, and then biting down onto it to destroy it. With how easily it destroyed that, imagine if it found its way up here.

God, I don’t even want to think about that.

The Eel can induce auditory hallucinations, as heard in the SM-13 audio logs where the Convict speaks to what seems to be no one. I know it’s the Eel because he calls it “a piece of shit who doesn’t even know it’s dead.”

The Eel appears to want to spread knowledge of the Light, but it also wants to destroy that knowledge. What does it want, exactly?

(As Narra writes this they notice that the SM-13, the ship they doodled for comparison, kinda resembles the Eel, gaping maw and all. How fucking rigged is this universe, exactly? To the point where even the ships themselves look like creatures?)

Dear God, those aren’t rocks. The “rock samples” we’ve been studying are bone fragments. And judging from the pictures, most (if not all) of the terrain looks like organ tissue and meat. Tissue. And meat. Are the moons alive? Or are they just hunks of flesh, bone, and blood?

I can’t help but think the moons were poor attempts at bringing humans back after whatever higher being fucked us over, but I know it’s impossible. That can’t be it.

The blood on AT-5 (and presumably the other three moons as well) is all human blood. It’s like something put every human being in the known universe and crushed them in a wine press, and this was the result.

Despite the blood being that of humans, it also has acidic properties. Objects and surfaces in prolonged contact with the blood experience corrosion and burns similar to acid burns.
