So how did you join ao3? And who else should I ask?

I thought I remembered this until you actually asked me and now I am realizing I don't remember. So the following timeline is based on the edit history of my fic docs LOL

I was reading SBI fanfiction for a short while in like 2021 and I was just having fun with it. Then Third Life happened, my brain started whirring and made lore, and I thought back to those SBI fics I read and thought "oh I could totally do that" and I started writing what is now my fic What it Means to Watch.

I had been writing for ages behind the scenes and gathering inspiration from other cool writers (Sam included actually) but it took me a year (and a health scare) to actually get the courage to post something, and I didn't even have the courage to post WIMW until last year. It probably should have stayed in the drafts anyways because it's a multichap and I have a history of abandoning long projects... But it's fiiiinneeee.

Basically it was lockdown interests and ADHD brain (and that one health thing) that got me posting on AO3 lol.

All this (already had Tighnari but not his signature) in ~280 pulls

I got Nahida at like 80 pity on a 50/50 (only had to use 30 fates though because I already had 50 pity)

Then I got Cyno at FOURTEEN PITY on a 50/50

Then I won my 50/50 AGAIN and got his weapon

Finally I lost my 50/50 while pulling for Hunter's Path for Tighnari and got a duplicate of Cyno's staff, but I still managed to get Hunter's Path not long after
