1. they would have been so cute and badass
2. shikamaru wanted two kids anyway (which is probably why he only has one because everything he wanted is the opposite of what he got)
3. temari grew up with siblings (uh...kankuro) and no mom and basically no dad because rasa sucked so i feel like she’d want shikadai to have someone there for him in case anything happened to her and shikamaru then he wouldn’t be alone :(
