Seeing Nancy more than seeing Mike, is something that Will never thought would be possible. Something that even Mike wouldn’t think it’s possible.  At least the Mike he knew a few months ago, not this version of him that he barely recognises. It’s incredibly sad, yet something that he really should get used to. Still, he smiles at Nancy, even though the smile reaches his eyes only for a moment ❝ Yeah, he kind of is. ❞ he is so glad, and surprised  — perhaps as surprised as he is that he is seeing Nancy that much  — that she is not telling him how this is just something that happens when you are in love.  ❝ Or maybe, you know, he is gonna be one of those people that spends all of his time with his girlfriend and not care about his friends anymore. ❞ he shrugs lightly, trying to sound nonchalant about it and he glances at her for the first time since she started talking to him ❝ Do you really think that he will...change soon? To...not being such a jerk anymore? ❞

❝ well, well, well. if it isn´t princess wheeler . ❞ smoke billows out of his nose as he flicks the stub of his cigarette onto the curb. smalltown gossip, high school drama, steve harrington storming out of a party - all things he could care less about ; but then, in hawkins you have to take any kind of entertainment you can get. ❝ all alone today? ❞ // @nancy--wheeler liked ♡

he’s reading his latest letter from jane, staring down at the four letter word right before her name, just at the bottom of her page, when several knocks rang through his room. brows furrow a bit, mike moving to sit up on his bed instead of lying on his stomach, the boy staring at the door for every moments before he called out. ‘ come in, ’ upon seeing nancy, mike finds that he’s relieved it wasn’t his mom or dad coming, in with polite smiles and no idea what he’s going through. ‘ i thought you'd be working late on the school paper, ’ he’s shoving the letter nonchalantly under his pillow before his hands cross in his lap. ‘ everything okay? ’     @nancy--wheeler​  ,  sc.

the party’s coming to a close, with stragglers picking at what was left on the dessert table. nick offered to stay, help clean up, and so he was smiling while others left, saying goodbye to the people he had met. steps a bit forward to open the door for nancy, who was just getting her coat on. ❝ so , i’ll call you ? ❞ she had given her contact information when he offered to give her a free class. gives her a smile, and only looks up when she does. the mistletoe was hanging with glee, waiting for the perfect two to step underneath. nick’s cheeks go pink. he’s not the bold type, but who was he to break tradition? ❝ oh , um... ❞ he leans down, gives her a peck on the cheek before his hands rest in his pockets. ❝ have a good night , ❞
