I love Nanaba? I still think about her and how there’s so little of her wtf isayama you drew such a beautiful character to kill off omg?
I think I imagine Nana and Hanji either as bffs, or as bffs who’ve had a ~*thing~*• in the past. I mean it’s the survey corps, fraternising is the only thing to look forward to? Idk? What other social life have they got? And Hanji sees nana and is like “wow! Very cool! Very friendly! An actual qtpie! Could date?” And Nanaba sees Hanji and is like “wow! Very cool! A little unhinged, but very friendly! An actual qtpie! Could kill me but... could date?” And they fool around and realise... huh okay... maybe we’re better off as friends? And they stay friends!
BUT realistically I think in Canon!au I don’t think they’d be bffs (yes I know in my drabbles they are bffs that’s coz I am weak), because their personalities might not be complementary. I’m not sure Nanaba would *get* Hanji. But I’m sure they were close nevertheless (smart pass says so, it’s Canon!)
But imagining them as bffs and linking arms and synchornising their footsteps like weirdos has been one of my comfort head spaces for 2020 so LET ME BE!

aww i honestly never thought of them together. once again, I really only ship Levi and Hange with each other, and i really just accept Nanaba/Mike together so my bias comes into play for SURE, but i’m sure they’d be adorable together! But I love just seeing them as best friends. If you havent read Yellow by @ariadneamare, you should! It helped me better visualize Hange and Nanaba’s friendship more!
