“Be cautious and enter.” He called to the door in a thundering voice. He watched the door with  his featureless face as the smooth white door opened. From the opening  came his begrudged messenger. “What is it? I have little patience for your foolishness tonight.” The lord warned his underling in a tone that only hinted at his tired state.

“Well, I had a question. one I think only you might be able to answer...or, at least give the best advice.” Rig asked as he wrung his wrists and looked down at the floor, somewhat perplexed by it’s change in color.

“I’ve no time to educate you, leave.” Erasure replied coldly.

“But, Shouldn’t a good deity be knowledgeable and teach their subjects their ways?” Rig pleaded.

“Do you think flattery will change my mood?”

Rig simply let his ears droop, he had a feeling that the lord would reject him.

“Well? hurry and ask if you must.” Erasure sighed with annoyance clear in his tone.

Rig jumped a little,looking up at the monster. “it’s just.... H-How, I mean...”

“OUT WITH IT.” Erasure urged, becoming agitated quite quickly.

Thankfully Rig  was able to blurt the rest out fairly quick.”What do you do when you love someone, and they love you but then something happens and they don’t remember you anymore?”

Erasure hissed as he stood back up. “I don’t know anything bout love, why ask me?” “It’s just I thought about you an-”

“SILENCE!” The pair stood quietly for a moment. Erasure’s frills slowly rested and the creature lowered his head  close to the  Hybrid.

“ Give up. Or fight to take back what’s yours.” Erasure told him mechanically before straightening his posture.

Rig thought about the response for a moment until his ears perked up. “Then I need Agent.” he replied,  taking a small step forward.

“HA! You expect me to hand you a loose canon? With power you could never hope to control? Sometimes your foolishness amuses me.” Erasure scoffed, turning back to his bed.

“I don’t need to control him! He listens to me!” Rig insisted, taking another step closer, however this earned a snap of  teeth within an inch of his face.

“ Don’t you sass me!” The titan boomed, his voice doubling over as if there were two beasts. “ Fine! If you can  awake and remove him from containment with your monster whispering skills then do so. It may amuse me. However, should you slip I’ll see to it you suffer. if you succeed  I require a favor in return. Kill the RED or destroy the Key.”

“Sounds fair to me.” Rig replied as he bent forward to bow graciously to his master. He then turned to leave but as his hand met the door Erasure made a soft sound that caused him to turn back and look.

“ It doesn’t get any easier. Oblivion may be your least painful option.”

Rig blinked at Erasure, studying his tone for falseness. he couldn’t discern the motive for such words.  “I Think it’s worth it though. Don’t you? to save them?”
