Missing my family back home in Nalerigu, Ghana, especially my very lively Great Aunty Ayishetu. In this clip I ask her about the tattoos on her face, arms, and legs. She tells me she got them when she was younger because it was considered veila, meaning beautiful in Mampruli. She also tells me that the next time I see her, I better have her name tattooed on me. 

Almost 2 years have passed since I last visited my family in Nalerigu, #Ghana. It's a long journey to #Nalerigu but it's always worth it (as you can see from the smile on my Uncle Mahama's face). 😃
