They’re unintentional brothers your honor, just separated by universes

Naga Oliver is so freaking creepy istg. His face? Nightmares. He actively gave me nightmares drawing it.

That being said- :)

The Outsider is an ex-employee that was hired as a mechanic/fabricator. Playtime co had the smart idea to hire someone in-house so that whenever their special equipment went down, they wouldn’t need to worry too much about either A) moving the equipment out, B) getting a maintenance worker clearance to go down that far, C) eating the shipping costs of sending the equipment out. Granted they’d still send it out if they had to, but with someone there to work in house….. saves them a buck or two in the long run.

They go by Adi (pronounced Audi) and they are selectively mute but once they warm up they can throw cuss words with the best of them as is always present with blue collar workers.

When it comes to Ollie, or Ols as they’ve nicknamed him, they didn’t take their bs from the get go. Easily matching the giant snake in sass and bad words. But when they get particularly mad at him, they’ll start throwing in some Spanish. And Ols cannot speak Spanish let alone understand it. And they find it the most hilarious thing when Ols complains that he can’t understand them at all.

He’s upset he had to sit still for me to doodle him.

He hand paints his body to look like different snakes but his most common and favorite is the Eastern Hognose snake

The bottom spine support also flares at the junction between his spine and the snake body he made for himself.

Regardless of species he imitates, he prefers to either coil around his prey and squeeze them or just stab them with his hands.

He did break the sides of his mask to better use his jaw but it didn’t really do much tbh. He also has a forked tongue in there. So yeh. Snek.

I made a goofy lil thing with Ols.

They needed his help with something and after pulling metaphorical teeth for hours, Adi convinced poppy to let her go get him. Which that in itself took considerable effort to get him to agree.

He is astounded that he hasn’t been able to overtake the resistance with how they operate. It’s a miracle they can even get anything done in his honest opinion.

Hi!! For this I’ll be referring to Naga!proto as Ols, and AMO!ollie as Ollie!

After talking with @degriss about how these two would interact, we decided that while at first it would be very unnerving to both of them, they would probably become friends! And they would definitely be pointing out each other’s differences and similarities.

The most pointed questions probably for each would be:

Ollie asking about Ols missing Jester cap, and Ols asking (or more appropriately freaking out about) where the rest of Ollie’s body is!

For extra fun info:

When answering Ollie’s question about his jester cap, Ols would very confidently proclaim that he got rid of it in favor of continuing the snake theme of his body by giving himself a hood instead. Preferring the extra fear factor it would add when he flairs it out, probably making Ollie a wee bit jealous.

In return,

Ols would be freaking out about Ollie’s lack of a lower body and very quickly pointing out that he is just moving around on his spine and stabilizing rings. However, Ollie would completely capitalize on Ols apparent discomfort with the lack of a lower body by vigorously shaking the end of his tail to make rattling sounds with his spine and metal rings just to further unnerve Ols.

But other wise after they get used to each other, they would partake in all sorts of pranks together and bouncing ideas off each other as well.

Basically, his Biodad died in a house fire that also almost killed Oliver with smoke inhalation but he was able to be saved in time suffering mild injuries from the fire but it did claim his left eye.

His biomom may not have physically abusive like his dad was but she was emotionally abusive. And it only got worse after the fire. By the time he was surrendered to foster care he was fairly self reliant due to his mom not bothering to even look at him hardly as she blamed him for the fire.

Even though authorities were able to prove that there was no way he would’ve or even could’ve cause the fire, being that the fire started on the opposite side of the house from him, there was no changing her mind.

The only reason she kept him was to keep the financial aid coming in from the state until she was able to get back up on her own feet. Then she promptly dropped him off at a shelter and disappeared.

ANYWAYS HERE ALSO HAVE A NERVOUS OLS AS COMPENSATION FOR THAT LORE

He taps his fingers when he’s nervous :)

Mostly with how the hood is shaped, the multiple arms and the way the segments on his tail look.

It’s funny you say that, this is not the first time he’s been compared to the seamstress and trust when I say it was unintentional LOL but I did make it his favorite character in that movie!
