Kei gave the blue dress presented to her a sideways glance before sighing and staring dejected at the rack of clothes in front of her. It was true. The dress was elegant but Kei couldn’t find it in her heart to love it. The purpose for finding a dress ruined any sort of good feeling she could have towards any garment. “It’s a lovely dress. It is. I just don’t think it would look lovely on me.” She let out another sigh before giving her older friend her best attempt at a puppy dog face. “Do we have to look for dresses? How about I just don’t go on this blind date my members forced me into and we go shopping for you instead?”
