Nadifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial skin infections. Nadifloxacin is closely related to the more popular Ciprofloxacin. Topical Nadifloxacin is used in many countries, but is not yet approved for use in the United States. Preliminary research and anecdotal patient reports indicate that Nadifloxacin can be an effective complement to many acne treatment programs. For more information about the use of Nadifloxacin in the treatment of acne vulgaris, see In Depth: Nadifloxacin (Nadixa) and Acne Vulgaris.
