Also I've just ordered a myWaitrose card as I've been enticed by the free coffee and tea every day thing.
Branding
Should I brand the Waitrose myReceipt with the same concept as the myWaitrose card? At first I think yes because then they both can be identified as coming from the same company and in the same card.
But then, if they are branded the same way, there is no telling the difference at a glance. MyWaitrose and MyReceipt will just look the same for someone that doesn't pay attention to the text written. Because of this, I want to make it different.
Choose
Based on what Henry said, I am going for the loyalty card e-receipt. Now, if I want to do it for Waitrose, I need to get people to use the myWaitrose card more. I got myself a Tesco clubcard, Sainsburys Nectar card and Iceland loyalty card. I don't have a Waitrose card though, even though I sometimes shop in Waitrose.Â
The reason I don't use it is because Waitrose doesn't seem to promote their loyalty card that well. In Tesco or Sainsburys, the person at the till usually ask if I have a loyalty card (in self checkout, Sainsburys always say 'have you swipe your Nectar card?'). In Waitrose, it never happens.
Maybe I should get a MyWaitrose card myself to see how the card is
