This is EXACTLY like Steve's bullshit ending! We all KNOW that man would not stay back in time, he would not stay with Peggy, he would not leave Bucky, he would not ignore bad things happening just to live a relaxing retired life. It was the most unSteve ending they could've given him

Mike isn't "just homophobic" "just misogynistic", he isn't unfeeling, he isn't stupid either, he channels a character called Mike the Brave so why the hell would he make only cowardly choices, he loves and cares about Will - even if you don't want to see it as romantic (though it is) we see it platonically in seasons 1 and 2. Will IS Mike's priority. He would do literally anything for him, to make sure he's okay, to make sure he's happy, and then suddenly changing "for no reason" is bullshit.

If you admit that guy has internalized homophobia then everything about him makes sense. If you decide, at the very end, that he was straight all along.. IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE. NOTHING ABOUT HIS ENDING MAKES SENSE.
