OC-tober Day 5: clothes that are culturally significant to you.
This is my Miraculous Ladybug OC Sayida Lahlaff, holder of the white owl Miraculous whose superhero name is Noor. She is Ali's cousin and in my headcanon, she comes from a long line of Royal bodyguards who have been trained to protect the Family. Her miraculous has been passed down from generation to generation and its holder is tasked with protecting the child/children of the king and queen at the time. She is Muslim and wears hijab--which as a high schooler and being Muslim myself, I also did. At the time I felt I was ready to do so but the way I was treated and being a self-conscious 14yr old,I ended up no longer wearing it but the hijab does hold an important significance to me and I admire my fellow Sisters and friends in Islam who do so. :)
