While clearing out I found my rip off of Olivier Berggruen’s ‘le miroir déformant’, number 29 of 99 numbered copies on #hemp paper. Originally written to accompany the printed invitation to the opening of the #lsdlibrary, March 5, 2005 by the late #juliomariosantodomingojr . Ripped off by me for what I think was my first catalogue in a bookshop I worked in years ago based on #myownmag the #diy #fanzine that had contributions by #williamburroughs in the form of the #tangiernews (?) a zine within #jeffnuttall ‘s zine. It’s all@I have now, the marked copy is lost and Julio’s copy was binned and I doubt that many people kept them - the catalogue being sort of designed to fall apart into a pile of hempen paper with roughly stabbed copper staples bursting asunder. It was unreadable unless you broke it up. It did very well, all things considered. Another glorious failure .
