We have power again! It’s amazing everything you take for granted on a daily basis that makes life run with more ease. Not having light, especially as an artist, is a tough one! I tried to use the afternoon light to get some work in on my final pet portrait for the holidays and start on some ornaments. Gizmo had other plans.. he thought blocking my light and sitting on the wood slices was the best option. 😂 Marvin came to join the party after Gizmo started trying to lift up and play with the wood pieces. Spent the weekend home sick with Gizmo and Marvin. It was filled with lots of tea, cuddles, pet portrait work and some playful art time! I finally painted up a fun little cat ornament I picked up at Michaels a few weeks ago. I also sketched up some little ornaments which will be up for grabs after they’re finished and fitted with twine hangers! So check back later in the week for that.
