i had a dream where i was playing a game with a minimap and was just exploring the world. NPCs show up as these dots on the minimap, but they were few and far in-between. i go into an area thats entirely derelict. its yellow with dust and grime and there's not even the sound of birds, only my footsteps.
but theres this dot on the minimap.
and it keeps going back and forth towards me incredibly fast. like it seems as if it should be physically slamming into me repeatedly, but i cannot see it anywhere around me.
i get this feeling of dread. sheer dread that makes my hair stand on end because it feels as if there's something that wants to hurt me but cannot get through.
