here we go on the local granite trio banter yayyy the discussion about assigned plants on the first page refers to this post where i talk of a headcanon about hearthians being entrusted with a plant to care for when they're hatchlings!

also i have a feeling timber hearth probably wouldn't have seasons. oh well. i wanted to see them doing winter things ::) (namely, bully chert who hates the cold)

thanks for reading! it was a fun exercise to practise comics and figure out how to draw hearthians. also cathartic because both the hatchling and gabbro get to have a friend amidst the storm (haha)

apologies all around. what a ride! this comic became something completely different than what i originally planned but i'm quite happy with my panneling and writing for this. instead of the planned 15 pages this ended up being 28 pages long (... unless there's a bonus part coming...?) regardless, thanks so much for reading <3

surprise! 6 pages instead of 4. i really enjoyed drawing this part. giving gabbro a personal catharsis-related reason to pursue giant's deep as an astronaut means a lot to me.
