((Went to a sanrio art party the other day and was inspired to draw my regular art party crew's (even tho some couldn't be there) FFXIV characters as Sanrio inspired! ))

since both mydia and baatu seem to travel around a lot, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say they bump into each other occasionally while on the road. Every time it happens dia greets him with a smile, before checking him over for any injuries (and giving chiding him about being more careful, or bringing more food with him, or wearing warmer clothes-) it's gotten to the point where dia has lil gifts prepared for whenever they bump into each other again, a travelers kit here, a scarf that reminded them of baatu there, and any other trinkets they would usually pass over but it seemed like baatu would enjoy.

I absolutely love this!! Oh my god,,, They absolutely would meet up from time to time and Baatu would want to keep contact with them!! They have only been friendly and caring and he honestly owes them so much for healing him. AND GIFTS?? Baatu would get Mydia gifts ;-; Honestly, idk what kind of gifts he'd give, but Baatu would definitely cook for them if allowed.
