Nail art inspired by the ocean waves I saw at Bondi Beach today. I used #Australian made Skinny Waves nail vinyls from @xromapolishandvinyls. I sponged the polishes in between the nail vinyls. OPI @opiaustralia ‘My Car Has Navy-gation’ from #OPIBrights Collection. It is the usual indigo or cobalt blue. Two coats with top coat. The first coat was so patchy. However, it did level on second which I applied a thick coat. Inasmuch as I love cobalt/navy blue polishes, this one did not make it to the top of my list. I found it was a bit difficult to apply. I think the technique is to apply this tad thicker. Otherwise, application would be patchy galore. Apart from my my struggle in application, this is a gorgeous shade, I will wear this anytime of the year. I don’t know how this is considered a bright color though. The only 'logical’ explanation I could think of is that a rainbow is bright and it has indigo blue in it! I’ve been watching too many Big Bang Theory episodes that even in my sleep Sheldon Cooper speaks sarcasm. .
