giving loona new solos - hyunjin
hear me out: hyunjin has the most soothing voice in loona and that's a fact. she would definitely rock another two ballads, but i feel like giving her something a little different. for some odd reason, yooa (oh my girl) and hyunjin just give me similar vibes. yk, like their aesthetics?? hyunjin and yooa both have that fairy/nature vibe, which is why i decided to give hyunjin bon voyage by yooa. she would definitely rock this concept so well 😭 as for the bside, i decided to go back to the "ballad" genre, and i gave her one of my favorite kpop songs: dalsoobin's circle's dream (동그라미의 꿈). self explanatory - ms. kim would slay us all with her voice in this song, especially at the "dum dara" part
this is a bit longer than expected, so im going to try to keep the rest pretty short!!! i named the album "dream" since the entire album gives off pretty dreamy vibes. as for the intro, i couldn't find anything that speciifcally matched, but to describe what i had in mind, something slow, beautiful, a lil nostalgic, and incorporates parts of bon voyage!
