                                    Waiting for the news of her crew, Claire walked down some of the streets of that town heading for a park that was rarely seen. Then she saw a silhouette of someone who walked almost in every corner.

    She was in the back when the front bell dinged, it’s merry little chime ringing through the store. Dark eyes lifted from the circle she was crafting, slender hands pausing above the intricate lines and runes that had been painstakingly painted across the aged vellum. One hand dipped beneath the brush she’d been using, stopping any of the ink from dripping as she returned it to it’s resting place beside the sheet -- she could hear the muffled voices of the doppelganger she had left watching the shop and whoever had entered, and usually, would have simply left things as they were. However, that second voice -- the customer who had entered -- it sounded familiar...

     She hadn’t even fully risen by the time the door to the back shimmered open, hands still pressed against the desk as the towering form of one Katakuri Charlotte darkened the doorway. One of the very few who had the proper permissions to even access that door -- and perhaps the only one who would have received such a pleased smile from the young witch, at being interrupted in her work.

     “My, but this is a surprise. What brings my favourite benefactor in today?” For any other, she would have sat back down, deeming her work more important than whatever conversation had been brought to her -- for Katakuri, however, she finished rising, stepping around the table and closing the distance between them. Her smile only widened as she moved closer, stopping just short of greeting him with a warm embrace. Though he was her favourite, she was never certain where the boundaries lay; and, oh, she was loathe to push them too far.
