Shari'a is no different to Muslims as the Ten Commandments are to Christians - Only extremist Islamic followers call "Shari'a", "Shari'a Law" - Why the misconception? - During the 19th century, a small group of people decided to adopt Western Civilized law outlines - These fundamentalist and zealot Muslims claimed Shari'a as a "punishable legal system" - Think of it this way - The Ten Commandments are written as a way to live a "Godly Life" for Christians; Same as Shari'a is meant to be for Muslims - years later some fundamentalist, zealot Christians decide they're going to take the Ten Commandments and make them a punishable legal system - every time someone committed even the littlest of sins, say, not honoring their parents, they'd be charged criminally to a punishment others deem acceptable (stoning, jail, decapitation, etc) --- That is what a very small group of people did to Shari'a when making it a law --- They took a concept of living holy and turned it into a barbaric law - Reject untrue #MuslimHate and #SupportMuslims here and abroad!
