Still didn't mean that it didn't hurt because it did. But Peyton had fallen out of love with Conrad the moment that she found out that he had cheated. The divorce proceeding had been going on for awhile. Conrad was being rather difficult saying that they could constantly fix it. But they couldn't. The damage was done and she was going to be damned if their daughter would witness it. At least more damages than what she had already witnessed.

There was no way that they could go back as much as Conrad wanted them to do so. It just wasn't possible in Peyton's eyes. Tonight only provide it at his family's Christmas party. He tried his best to make it seem like everything was fine, even tried to be lovey and touchy with Peyton but she couldn't bring herself to do it and would make any excuse to get away from it.

Which brought them to right now after they got home and Peyton got Willow into bed. "Sign the papers, Conrad. We can't come back from what you've done. Tonight was proof of that. And none of this is fair to Willow, to you or to me. We just don't work anymore. Especially after what you did. We can't come back from it. So please, just sign. That is all I want for Christmas from you."

Conrad looked over at her, he knew that she was right but he didn't want to give up on his marriage but it had been his fault to begin with. "Alright, I'll do it. Take whatever you want from me, Peyton. I just want to be able to see Willow." He moved over to the island.

"I'd never take her away from you, Conrad. And I'm not going to take everything you got. Just split it down the middle. Half and half with Willow seeing you every other week, and on holiday's if we can't come together as a family, it will be every other holiday. Like one Christmas she is with me, and then the next she'll be with you." One thing that Peyton would never take their daughter away from him. "Thank you for finally doing this." Watching him sign, she looked through the papers making sure neither of them missed something. "I'll file this in the morning."

Moving over to him, she leaned up and kissed his cheek. "I'll take Willow out of here tomorrow, and you collect all of your things. We can start the custody agreement after the holiday's if that is okay." Conrad nodded his head in agreement. She felt his eyes on her for a moment before he headed to the door and left.
