Bisexual Maggie trying to reconcile her catholic guilt with her attraction to girls and then discovering she likes boys so maybe she's normal it's all good
I regret not making Maggie a doctor in my AU tbh. Like healing is such a big theme in her character, moreso than faith or love or whatever, it's literally her main mechanic but noooooo I had to play it safe and project on her and now her character is too established and the story is too far along to retcon it lol
I think the reason I haven’t been posting any art lately is because this next comic feels like such a huge roadblock. It’s like the inspiration has gone (not for the whole project, just this specific comic) and now I have to physically force myself to complete it.
And I can’t do anything else until it’s done, because then it would be “cheating” in a way? You know the feeling when you have to get out of the house to do something, but you still have some free time, but you can’t do anything because you have stuff to do later so you just sit around doing nothing? It’s kinda like that but for art.
I can’t do anything until I’ve finished this thing, but this thing has shifted from something that made me excited, to a gruelling task that I have to force myself to do and it’s poisoning everything else.
Hello hello my friends, new and old and whatever. It seems I have come to a point where I don’t really know what to do with my art and it’s making me frustrated. The ideas are not really coming to me, or better yet, the ideas are there, but it seems they’re never the ones I want.
I’ll admit I’m struggling a bit and I have considered taking a little break from art altogether (at least for a couple of days anyway) BUT I’m the meantime I would love to hear from you what direction should I take once I’m out of this dry spell. As for now the options are
A new comic for the AU
Finish Perseus’ last comic and focus on the askblog for a bit
