My insecurities surround me like lions in the den

I know a lot of people don’t like this, but I love when music artists change up their sound, their aesthetic, and their routines. Sometimes when you’re a fan of someone’s art it can be a little hard to see them come out of what you fell in love with them for or see them change up something you like. I used to feel like that too, but when I thought about it I kind of tried to change up my thinking. Music is extremely vast and dynamic. When I looked through my playlists I realized that I had the most random songs in one playlist. I also have multiple playlists of different genres. I listen to so many different things and it only makes sense that artists would want to create different things. I mean isn’t that the point of music anyways, expression? Whether it’s done through actual lyrics, different music choices, album aesthetics, music videos, or live shows the expression is happening. And THAT is what I enjoy seeing, never mind the fact that I may not like their stylistic choice in their music or the way they chose to do something live, I just like seeing artists expand and express. At the end of the day I don’t have to like it, but at the same time I’m not going to pigeonhole an artist.
