Title: Guardian of the Amulet Sketched at the British Museum, this drawing was inspired by an amethyst carving that seemed to waver between a figure holding a sword and clasping its own hands. The deep blues and angular strokes reminded me of a hard, ancient sky—something sacred and protective. In ancient times, an amulet like this may have been worn for protection, buried with the dead, or kept close as a symbol of strength. Today, we might see it as a reminder—a spiritual anchor, or a quiet protector in our pockets or homes.

From today's drawing outing to the Troopeenmuuseeum, where we learned upon our arrival it is not allowed to draw inside of the museum with any medium but a pencil, which they then provide for you (as I didn't bring a single pencil with me). And luckily I was lend a Polycolor Geranium Hell 2000021 pencil from @theheartofjeremyhoffman , as the pencil from the museum was mwah & so so ...
