Fave band rec: Muse
Yesterday, Matt Bellamy got me from the wrong side of the fence right into the front rows of the Köln Gloria show. Just because I asked for it.
MATT BELLAMY. You know, the one I always reblog stuff about.
And then Muse proceeded to play, amongst the usual, Supremacy, Assassin, and Fury. At the only-600-people Drones promo show.
There are no words to describe what that feels like, or how much of a Muser I am now and forever.
Muser checklist: What to do if you didn’t win tickets to the very special promo show even though you tried VERY hard.
1. show up anyway
2. don’t be thrown off by a lack of other fans - focus on the backstage entry.
3. Make a proper fool of yourself by hanging around, but don’t scream. Of course the band know you’re there, and they will come over as they please.
4. When they are finally standing right in front of you, concentrate on asking for what you really came by for. It’s very important to do this OUT LOUD.
5. Don’t faint. Get hydrated. Call home to tell you got in after all. Scrap that, they won’t believe you anyway.
