After being taken away from everything he knew, he was excited to learn he had a brother even if that feeling was not returned. He'd watched clips, hell, a whole movie to gleam any tips for his upcoming performances.
Maybe one day his twin will pick up and he'll be able to tell him how he's not been forgotten, he'd be able to tell him that the crowd had gone wild when he'd replicated some of his moves, how those same moves had helped him find a footing in a world he'd been thrust into and was still so terribly unsure of. All that excitement and hope now pooling in his stomach, heavy and unmoving as his chest squeezes.
He didn't understand why the absence of a brother he hadn't even known existed made his chest ache, that even with the ghouls, crew and the various members of the ministry that had joined along for the tour but when the roaring of the crowd died down Perpetua once again felt alone.
The first prompt for @hystericmuse 's Ghostober! With the breaks its feeling possible to get through all the prompts (hopefully).
Lachryma always makes me feel things in relation to a rough relationship l've had with my family so why not project onto my two favourite messes? They become best friends though after they finally learn the abstract skill of communication and no one can tell me otherwise.
