@mysteriousmissweems, from Ruby
To say that Ruby wasn't happy about being made to go to a shrink would be, well... a gross understatement. She had no problems with what her life had been so far, no matter how many questions she had about whether or not she was working for good or evil, and wanting more say in what her life turned out to be. Her mother did a good job raising her, over all, in her opinion. Which meant that this ruling by SHIELD was more of a way to torture her than anything.
Besides, if they thought she would open up and give HYDRA secrets away to some shrink because they played nice with her, then well... they were far more naive than she gave them credit for.
As she waited for the session to start, she fidgeted with the bracelet on her wrist, meant to block out the unstable powers until they can figure something out more long term. It was uncomfortable to say the least, and it left her with a... tingly feeling. Still, sensory issues aside, she supposed it was better than people thinking their heads were going to implode if they got near her. As if she couldn't kill them without powers.
"If you really want me to, I'll spin a tale of heartache, childhood trauma, neglect, abuse... whatever you want. But, as I've been told, my mom's job title automatically means every word out of my mouth is a lie. So... good luck with that."
