A New Muse Appears...
CW: Blood
Say pal... Did you know that vampires are real?
Yes, you heard me right - vampires! The powerful beings of nights, hunting humans for their blood, intoxicated on their own strength, feeling like they own the world, and the entire human race is but a flock of sentient capri-sun. Your friends and family could secretly be vampires and you wouldn't know it until their fangs pierce your neck!
But do not be afraid. Would your fear turn to pity if I said she was the last one of her kind?
Meet Amelia, Grand Duchess of Belstadt, The aristocracy of a land that is no more. A country with no nation nor population of its own, absorbed into the bordering states that seized the opportunity to desecrate the carrion of the fallen.
Turned into a vampire more than 700 years ago, at this point she cannot remember her human life before the ritual that had led to her joining the forces of evil. She gradually became a noblewoman in Belstadt - what used to be a land of endless nights, but now reduced to ashes and lush copses covering the ruins.
The history of the human race prefers not to discuss the events that had led to it, but in the end, the entire vampirekind was eradicated in a holy war. Or so they thought - as Amelia was the only survivor of the bloodbath, the wooden stake aimed at her heart missing and her escaping wounded, but alive by the skin of her fangs. She witnessed the deaths of her comrades as the wooden lid descended upon her coffin, entombing her until someone or something freed her. She wouldn't have to wait too long, as just 309 years later, a construction work unearths an unknown burial site. The local media, as they do, sensationalize the finding, reporting about a witch hunt mass grave in the area - though strangely, none would say anything about a suspicious young woman emerging from one of the coffins under the refreshing hide of the night and scurrying away like an injured beast.
Now, you might be inclined to get scared again. 'A resentful undead roaming the streets seeking revenge against humans?!' And while it is true, yes, that Amelia could have just a bit of hatred for the humanity, you should first see how she fares nowadays.
Ah, such tender cuts of meat are the most delectable indeed. I guess I should not be surprised the pests' population grew so much out of control if they had been eating like this for the last thirty decades.
She sighs. A rare wagyu steak on her plate glistening with its characteristic grease and the gentle bloody inside. So much better than anything her cooks would serve her, available at the nearest convenience store. As well as anything else - more delicious treats that she could possibly taste, the variation casting a shadow even on what she thought to be luxurious in her times.
guurrgrrll...
Yet no matter how much she ate, her body turned it all into nothing but fat on her body - and she still felt hungry. Her body, while able to savor the finely crafted foods simply could not extract nutrients from it, requiring blood. above everything else.
No use, too little blood in these. She tapped the corner of her mouth with a gilded napkin with the insignia of her estate on it, catching leftover fat. The stake, while succulent, would never feel the void in her stomach and her black heart.
She grinned. The status of Duchess does not translate to anything of material value in this day and age, not to mention that her estate was long burned to the ground and the manufactures her clan had owned reclaimed and repurposed. And now that pathetic little vermin that has the financial control over her now - they call her boss - who does she think she is, reprimanding and yelling at her? Yet gritting her teeth, she would have to oblige, lest she would be deprived of what little finances she gets.
It seems humans should be reminded of their place in the world.
She smiles, remembering the myths and legends that the peasants loved to spread about her as they sat in their cute little houses around the fire. To the locals, she was known simply as the Bloodletter of Belstadt.
The truth of the matter is, Amelia was taken from the life of an 18th century aristocracy and plunged into the world of modern-age, as if transported by a time machine of the three centuries of slumber. You cannot expect her to adapt to such a life instantly - and from her perspective, centuries are nothing. She was plucked out of her time and shoved into a modernity that reduced her to someone barely above a regular human. Her only asset would be her fangs, indeed.
And even if she dresses in what people call 'gothic lolita'; even if she has to work a 9/5 job like everyone else; even if she is as fat and unfit as everyone around her; and even if her own ever-increasing weight begins to impact her abilities, she is still a duchess, and she expects you to treat her as such.
Suddenly hit by an inspiration! As to what I would like to use her for:
General weight gain (limitless) (duh)
Humiliation
Vampirism/blood drinking (duh)
Health issues/death feederism/loss of supernatural abilities due to obesity
Paranormal stuff
Royalty AU
Corruption
Generally the fall from a high and refined nobility to junk food junkie
Please reblog if you liked her! Let the world know there is a hungry vampire on the prowl!
