I would like to relate the following story that occurred a few months ago:
I went foraging for flowers during gym and some of the flowers I picked turned out to be weeds that smelled vaguely garlicky.
Fast forward to when I came home to my apartment later that day. There was an unfamiliar man checking in with our front desk (it's a security measure that tradesmen and first time visitors check-in with the receptionists at the desk) and I overheard him tell our receptionist that he's going to an apartment on the 7th floor.
I decided to be a little shit and not say anything, and pretend I'm just standing and waiting for the elevator like any other normal person. Both of us eventually get on the elevator. Without a word, I press the button for the 7th floor, and for my floor (the fifth). This random guy lets out a little "oh", and kind of freezes momentarily, wondering how I guessed his floor.
Remember how I said the weeds smelled vaguely garlicky? Well apparently if you're enclosed in a badly ventilated area, the smell becomes noticeable. So I'd like you all to imagine that this short girl who is holding flowers and is smelling vaguely of garlic is standing with you in the elevator, has just guessed your floor number (correctly), and says nothing but an enthusiastic "have a great day!' as she gets off the elevator.
