I’m surprised ant1s aren’t all completely against the Pokemon fandom in general. Between the games and anime, there are so many ships. There are probably several that are Problematique. You think ant1s would be boycotting. 

Y’know what I don’t get? Whenever we ship something like 0tayur1, ant1s are like “ummm why are you sexualizing a minor?” And some of us genuinely don’t sexualize the ship, whether we view one or both characters as ace, or view the couple as waiting until they’re both older. Basically our entire “shipping and relationships do not equate to having sex” argument. 

But what do ant1s think of ships between two minors? Like two young minors? For example, Ash and Misty. They were my first OTP, I still ship it. I’ve seen couldless aged-up fanart and fics of them where people draw/write them older and married with children of their own. Ant1s never screech about that. They never yell about how “disgusting” it is to age up these ships between two young kids, like the same way the screech about aging up 0tayur1 and similar ships.🤔

I remember when X and Y came out, a lot of people were shipping the Player with Professor Sycamore, who’s like at least 40. I don’t recall any ant/s with this. I know there were a few people who were like “hey if you ship that, at least age up Serena/Calem and tag it please,” but besides that, everyone stayed in their lane and minded their own business. 

I relate so much to being a teen and admiring the adult fans/shippers for that same reason. I remember one forum I was active on, one of the mods had “mom” in her username, because she was a literal mom, she had a kid. And I thought that was so amazing, that even as an adult and a parent, she’s still able to enjoy the same “kid” shows I do. 

Idk why ant1s are so against adults in fandom.Now ant1s act like as soon as you turn (vague age of “too old”), you have to abandon fandom things.

I saw your reply, your response was so good…. annnnnnd ofc they basically ignored it, except for the blocking part. 

I wanted to reply to them too, with what you said: that if there are adults behaving inappropriately, it’s up to everyone to take personal responsibility. If an adult is pm-ing a minor in fandom inappropriately… how tf am I suppose to know?! The adult is not going to advertise that they’re a creep on their blog. It’s up to the minor to block and report that person, and maybe warn others about them. And hmmm, what do you know, I never see ant1s saying “oh this adult sent me inappropriate private messages,” complete with solid proof, because it probably rarely happens in fandom (this fandom specifically).

LOL I remember that. I mostly wanted to joke about Hiryuu amping up the rating to be honest.

I can't see her chosen by Master Fu like Marinette and Adrien were, but my pre-season theory is that she'll somehow get ahold of the miraculous and attempt to be a hero because she wants to be superhero buddies with Ladybug. Que actual character development in her attempts to play hero.

Hmm, I do quite like that idea.

I mean, we’ve seen how she attempted to help when Sabrina was Akumatized. Se mostly got in the way, but she was trying to help.
