The difference is the love these Elephants receive-#trunkupwines ・・・ See how Murit has blossomed over the past three years! • Photo 1: In July 2014, a herdsman got quite a shock when he looking down into a well and saw seven-week-old Murit staring back at him. The calf's tumble into the well's murky depths had clearly taken a toll on him; he arrived at the Nursery battered and bruised and suffering from a serious bacterial infection. • Photo 2: Murit's recovery was an uphill battle, but he had a very devoted team rooting for him. The Keepers never left his side, day and night, and his new elephant family provided lots of steadfast support. Eventually, he turned a corner and transformed into a healthy and playful little bull. • Photo 3: Today, Murit is one of our "star" bulls. He's exceptionally kind-hearted and acts as a role model for the other baby boys, showing them how to behave and care for others. We can't wait to see what the next years bring for him! • Murit, like all the orphans in our care, will eventually be reintegrated back to the wild.
