I am still in such a PCTS music spiral, and now in a 2000s emo spiral because of it. I keep listening to If You Don't, Don't by Jimmy Eat World and picturing it as Derek's POV, and then repeatedly listening to Mixtape by Brand New and There Is No I in Team by Taking Back Sunday and envisioning Scott and Stiles's friendship towards the beginning of PCTS. I hope you get just as emotional about that image as I am because it has been haunting me and I need to share the feels.
Yee! That was my life while writing haha. Aw I love Taking Back Sunday. YEAH DUDE, pain.
PRO TIP: If you wanna get REAL emotional, listen to Cardinals by The Wonder Years (the newest album) and then listen to Cigarettes & Saints on the same album and think about Scott and Stiles and just... :)..... bye.

So I reread Play Crack the Sky yesterday and I fallen into an endless music spiral because of it. I looked through all your recs and just wanted to suggest a few more. I keep coming back to Stay by Mayday Parade, and can't decide which POV I see it from, though I may be leaning towards a duet for Stiles and Derek. Millstone by Brand New is such a post-Derek Stiles song and it hurts my heart to hear it. Your New Twin Sized Bed by Death Cab is definitely Cora to Derek after he leaves the band.
LISTEN TO ME LIIIIISTEN TO ME. It was last summer, I was writin’ Play Crack and listening to Brand New and that’s ABOUT IT (aside from work and shit, I guess) and Millstone was SUCH A DAMN STILES SONG TO ME TOO. Also yes on the other two but I am all ABOUT Millstone for Stiles god bless.
Endless music spirals are the best, I’m glad to have been an agent in it :)
